My own is, whatever you prefer calling me, stick to it. Do not call me Sweetheart today, Heartthrob tomorrow and Gumjaw next tomorrow.
If you do that when we are out together and I'm a bit distant from you, I may assume I'm not the one being called. Some people are fond of calling their partner several nicknames, stick to just one, it will also help me know what to call you, 'cause I believe it will be better to call eachother by the same nickname.

Imagine calling a 50/60 year old man a 'baby'.
I'm not 50 yet, but I can't stand that nickname. Call me by my name please, I'm no baby.
Some old men actually like this, especially when they're with younger partner🤣🤣🤣 I don't know why but they do, once dated a divorced man in his 50s, so I know.

You guys broke up, sorry about that. I heard older men take care of girls more than the younger ones. How true?

Yes we broke up, we aren't compatible.
What makes them special is that they have the financial capacity at this stage to take care of their woman, nothing more. Good men remain good men and bad ones remain still no matter the age.

He naturally likes PDA and his age has little to nothing to do with that I guess

He's a PDA person really, you just might be right.

You should call them by their name first, if they want lovable nickname, I believe they'll make it known.
You only call them by special nickname if they make you know that they prefer it, if not, stick to their name.
We all have our likes and dislikes, it could be a like for someone and a dislike for another person, respect whatever they like.
