What's the big deal if a lady is older than a guy in either relationship or marriage? I just posted this topic and I learnt from there that some guys wouldn't marry an older lady for any reason. I think if it's just a matter of 1 to 3 years older, that shouldn't be a big deal.

What's your take on this?

It's naturally a guy's thing to take control in relationship. If the woman is older, she might want to take over. I think it just revolves around this phenomenon.

And you think 1-3 year age gap would have effect? When there are many people of this age gaps among one's friend and we all see ourselves as mates.

There are many things the lady would do unconsciously and the guy would think it's 'cause of the age difference. For instance, if she sends you message often, you might not reason towards the side of her being tired or lazy. You might just conclude she's riding you as a guy.
