Water or tissue after using the toilet, which is better?

For me, no water, no tissue, I only use water to wash my hands, what I use is wipes. Wipes are better, especially for those that are not used to cleaning that part with water, go for wipes instead.

Not a good idea, an adult will need to flush the messy wipes and that could block your toilet pipe.
I hope you know.
More reason it's meant for babies because you can easily dispose after using them on babies.

There are flushable wipes and those are suitable for adults.

Yea, baby wipes are effective antibacterial too, which will help clear bacteria from your anus. Flushable wipes are good.

Hmmm, the time you will regret flushing any type of wipes is coming. The wipes are made up of threads that are somewhat glued to each wipe.
Plumbers are fond of cutting the edge of pipes during installation, leaving small fragments on the inner edges. This makes the wipes get stucked further down the pipe and sometimes continue to harbour any other waste that comes through, especially where there is not a lot of water volume, when this occurs, plumbers call it "fatberg" or "ragging" which means massive blocking, in other words, this kind of blockage wouldn't be noticeable on time until things get out of hands.
We got to know this in our house after the so called flushable wipes blocked a toilet as a result of one of my sister's frequent use of the so called flushable wipes but she has stopped ever since.

Save yourself stress and unnecessary expenses, USE WATER.

True, it is called flushable wipe but it clogs.

A very interesting thread to read. Anyway, bidet should be installed in every toilet and should have a standard water pressure. That's my take, I support the use of water.

What amazes me is those ladies that fix artificial nails from time to time and use tissue to clean up after pooing.
How do you intend to use tissue properly in that case?
Whatever your gender is, please use water always, that's what is hygienic.
