Depending on the quantities of the two though.Yeah, that line is true. Cockroaches eat bedbugs together with their eggs, their relationship is like that of cat and mice. Although, depending on how much cockroaches you have compared to the number of bedbugs.
Let's say you carried a bedbug from somewhere and you had a cockroach in your house, before you know and before the bedbug start procreating, the cockroach might have fed on it. They could have their positive effect sometimes, even if it's not physical but in terms of ecological concept.

I remember telling my parents about it back then on phone when I first came accross it. They suggested I shouldn't be coming for holidays with the clothes in the school hostel, so I wasn't going home with those clothes, the one I wear home would be washed and sun dried immediately I got home, even if I couldn't wash it myself, my siblings would help and when I was finally leaving school, I didn't leave with much things, just few clothes I admired so much and they were all washed, rinsed with kerosene mixed with water and sun dried for days before moving them in.
I know someone that said he had to leave the house for weeks, after using Sniper vigorously for days before it was effective.
I hope they didn't go home with you from school. Lol
Heard DD Force mixed with kerosene works on them too.

I use to hear about bedbugs but haven't experienced it, not even sure I've seen one before except maybe online and in pictures.Lucky you, I experienced it when I was in school hostel. They usually have one hell of this disgusting smell and their sting are usually sharp, you notice almost immediately, especially if they sting you when you're awake, some say sniper kills them. Heard there's a specie whose egg could survive even for a year without food/blood. They are truly monsters

Those places are without mosquitoes?

- Aug 06, 2024, 05:09 AMQuoteLol. I traveled and had to stay with a friend and her family. I suspected immediately I entered the room where I was meant to sleep there would be bedbugs, the suspicion came as I saw different clothings jam-packed at one edge of the room.No lies, the cause of some people's fear to vacation in Paris as of late.
Guess what? I got stung in the midnight and immediately flashed the light on my phone, behold! it's a bedbug.
I couldn't kill it because I might be disturbing others.
Thank goodness I only had that single night to pass, I left the next day and when I got back home, everything I brought back stayed outside for days, no kidding. Had to call on my little nephew to get me a short outside and I changed in the backyard, put what I was wearing and another one I went with straight to handwash in the compound and dried for few days before packing them in.
My mum came outside and was wondering what happened, I said just hold mum, I will tell you. When I finished washing I went and and gisted her, she just bursted out laughing, knowing fully well my fear for it is from her past experience she had shared with us. Not funny, but I fear bedbugs, the monsters that nearly shot the whole Paris down. Fear those things.

QuoteSometimes I wonder why we have things like bedbugs, cockroaches, mosquitoes, spider, rats and the like to just disturb humans.Regarding this @Ticam, you would be shocked if scientists explain the ecological importance of those creatures to you. Besides, do you know cockroaches feed on bedbugs? If your house is populated with more of cockroaches and less bedbugs, cockroaches can get bedbugs eliminated by feeding on them. Depending on the quantities of the two though.

- Aug 06, 2024, 04:01 AMYou can always find measures to prevent mosquitoes but you see bedbugs, those ones will chase you out of your house. Tiring thing is nothing particular has been found to be an effective means of their eradication. @Ticam, you guys were lucky because your parents were already house owners as at then, imagine throwing all your belongings in a general rented compound. Obviously, tenants couldn't have done that.
Those demons pursued me out of a rented apartment one time. I just had to leave most of my thing there and left. I destroyed the mattress, cause that was their major abode. Those things are demons.

My sister traveled for acculturation when she was in school, she came back with bedbugs, we share the same room, female children room.
It was one of us that discovered and spoke out one day, that was how my mum said we should take everything in the room outside and she didn't allow us take anything back inside until months after, we all had to do thorough washing of our wears, spread in sun for days before moving those one in, bed mattress and other items spent months outside in our compound. Both sun and rain penetrated well on the items. It's in our own family house and compound so it was easy.
Two to three months after, we then washed and brought the stuff inside. My mum fear for bedbug is out of this world....lol
