Proficient Orlando Volleyball Crew Signs Previous Oregon Ducks Star Setter Hannah Pukis

The Orlando Valkyries reported Tuesday the marking of previous All-American and Oregon Ducks setter Hannah Pukis to a one-year agreement. The Orlando Valkyries are a part group in the Star Volleyball Organization, the chief ladies' expert volleyball association in North America.

"I'm very appreciative and eager to have the option to play in the PVF once more and can hardly stand by to get to work in Orlando," said Pukis. "I'm anticipating seeing all the help from the Valkyrie fans and to what this impending season will hold."

Pukis started her expert profession as an individual from the Las Vegas Rush. Chosen as the third in general pick in the debut PVF University Draft on December eleventh, Pukis saw restricted playing time during her freshman season, showing up in only one set. The Oregon graduated class is presently taking her gifts crosscountry to additional her expert vocation in Orlando.

"It was extremely magnificent to see every one of my colleagues," Pukis said. "It was our whole beginning arrangement, nearly."

Pukis will rejoin with previous Oregon partner Georgia Murphy, who gets back to the Valkyries after a champion freshman season. Last season the libero showed up in every one of the 24 counterparts for the Valkyries and played 102 sets. The previous Duck and second-round pick in the 2024 PVF draft drove the association with 379 digs. Her 3.72 digs per set positioned third in the PVF, among qualified players.

"I'm amazingly eager to have surrendered with the Valkyries!" said Murphy. "I love everything about this city, our fans, and this group. I can hardly stand by to return to Orlando and begin working."

Both Pukis and Murphy will be in real life in January as the PVF season starts.
