Just similar salary to what others are paid in the same field. Not a special package in most cases.

@Bigowl, it's nothing serious, "competitive salary" only means "Market Related", it doesn't mean a high paying whatever.
Let's say general market pay for the job post is 300 Pounds, you can expect the same 300 Pounds or something within that range e.g From maybe 290 - 350 Pounds. Just that, it's nothing special.

When companies write competitive salary when advertising or posting a job vacancy, does it mean something special, as in a high paying job?
