Most of the time, people think marriage is all about s*x and maybe bill sharing. Whereas this chore sharing is one major thing people should talk about often when considering marriage. Because if truly there's love, you're going to be spending most of your time like this, not like below
It's one of the major factors that make marriage lasts.

I like the way you guys disagree with maturity. Great.

@Shereefah got it right though. The wife is a nursing mother, she must be stressed. I think I need to talk to my friend. Thanks guys!

QuoteSo the guy can equally not be stressed after working Monday to Friday and tell his wife he needs to rest? C'mon don't be one-sided
Just think about it. How would my hubby who helps regularly tell me he's tired and I will continue asking him to do more, knowing fully well he had been in the office all through the week.

Is that not wickedness? It's obvious one of them is selfish, if not, the matter wouldn't get here.

QuoteIf the hubby had been helping out before now, I know this matter wouldn't get here. I suppose he doesn't want to do anything at home believing the wife should take care of it all since she's usually at home. But house chore is more stressful than you guys could think of, stressful than the official work he does. He should just help out if he truly loves his wife.

He should just explain to the wife whenever he's tired. The wife could be stressed despite not working. What if she's nursing a child?

They need to be helping each other instead of thinking someone does more. It's a conversation they should both have.

So a friend told me about his wife always complaining that he's not helping out enough when it comes to house chores. The thing is the wife currently does not work, I mean outside the house.

This friend of mine (the husband) only have weekends to rest and go to some places if there's need but the wife wants him to always do one or two chores with her anytime he's home. He doesn't say he can't if he's fit but most of the time he's tired and needs his rest.

How do you think he can go about this?
