If it's very often, it's enough reason. If not, we can let it slide.

From experience, most people that leave their partner (commonly women) after knowing the partner is cheating didn't really leave because of that simple fact. In most cases, they leave because the partner is irresponsible with the cheating.

Maybe they get infected, maybe he stopped taking care of responsibilities, maybe he becames abusive e.t.c

Even some children wouldn't forgive their dad or mum for cheating on the other.
Why cheat?
Why not just leave the marriage if you're tired?

As for me, if you get caught once, I may forgive but once I discover it the second time, we are separating. It means that kind of person can never change.

Quote from: Ruthk on Nov 07, 2024, 10:04 AMIt's not a good reason until you start treating different kinds of STDs every three days.
If you are with a chronic fornicator, it's more than enough reason to leave.
Or until the other spouse gets infected with a sexually transmitted infection that has no cure like HIV.

Well it depends, if it continues and it's affecting the home, divorce could be the answer. But if it's not affecting the home, I'll suggest the other person stays because you don't know what you're going to meet in a new person you're yet to know.

If the person who cheats surrender after being caught and changes their way, no problem. We are all humans.
