Quote from: Ruthk on Oct 13, 2024, 09:52 PMThanks so much, there's space. Yes.
It totally escaped my mind, maybe because I haven't experienced this before, the doorknob was worked on and it gives way for some gap beside.
I'll do something about it.

Yeah, that's what I do for now, I spray them. Thanks for your concern.

Thanks too @Ticam

You're welcome

In that picture, doorframe gap or space is only under the door, but you probably can have it by the side too.
Something like this

If you look at this new picture, you'll see there's a space beside the door, in-between the door and the frame. Yeah, that's what I mean, you can have it all round like that, the two sides, beside (from up till down), under and sometimes above.

So look for those space and ensure you block them all, I have a similar experience at present and I discovered it's from the door-doorframe gap. My own experience is with some little insects, mosquitoes aren't common in my neighborhood, and ever since I blocked the space, they reduced to almost nothing, it's only under in my own case.

You can get a door net mesh to cover the whole door with the doorframe.

Someone also advised me to get a plumbing gap filler, that's the option I'm considering but yet to get it.

There are also door gap sealers that could work, especially if the space is only under.

What I do right now is just tape it...lol, it may sound funny but it's working fine, I know this wouldn't be suitable for all weather. Like I said, I'm planning to get the recommended filler soon, just busy these days and a bit relaxed since the tape is working.

Don't forget mine is only under, if the gap or space is by the side or almost everywhere, tape might do nothing.

Just get a net mesh, gap filler or something better.

Sorry about the mosquitoes, I hope you are spraying them insecticide for now.

Not just one window but the entire window, maybe there's a net mesh cut somewhere.
Yes, I checked everywhere. Everything is intact.

Hi all, I just moved to this new place and I noticed mosquitoes keep trooping in. After locking the door properly, they're still finding their way, I have never experienced this.
What can I do to stop these mosquitoes please?
