Tween or Tweenager, also known as 'betweenager' (although both are also synonymous), refers to a young person between the ages of eight and twelve, i.e not yet up to a teenager. However, who has started to act like a teenager.

Teenager is a young person between 13 to 19 years old.

The word tweenager or tween is getting common because children develop faster these days.

What's the difference between tweenager and teenager.
I see the word "tween" or tweenager in many write-ups nowadays, instead of teen or teenager
Are they the same or different?
