I've always been a guest here without making contributions, this first contribution of mine would break the record.

Before I got involved with my twin flame, I briefly had an experience with a narcissist, nature brought me a chronic narcissist. It was a brief experience, I knew something wasn't right, found out more and got most information needed, after that I cut all contacts with him, I'm a healthy person and can't be a narc's toy.

Now, when the involvement with my twin flame started and he began to show some of the signs displayed by  the narcissist, detachment particularly. I immediately knew something was wrong as well but this time, different from what was wrong the first time (the brief period with the narc). Even though I didn't know anything about twin flame as at that time, but I already have knowledge about narcissist and I knew some things were glaringly different between the two, can't deny some things look the same as well.

I'm saying this to buttress Partonremedy's point, the true people will be able to differentiate between the two, that's certain. Nature will find a way and I do tell people, if you don't know whether you are with a narcissist or a twin flame, that's a telltale sign that you probably are with a narcissist. You might not have heard about the two terms but you'll surely have experienced a narcissist one way or the other, whether in your family or among friends and that will surely make you know something is just different.
Spot on.

Quote from: Exzelent on Oct 04, 2024, 07:11 AMWhat logical meaning does this have? Logic aside, it doesn't even have an emotional meaning.
Narcissist also turns chaser at the very beginning of each love bombing stage. So this is just too lame. Does this mean the chaser could only be female?
Ok, I'll give one or two examples.
A narcissist plays the victim, a twin flame runner won't.
A narcissist abuses you verbally or physically, a twin flame runner won't.
As you have said, a narcissist love bombs, a twin flame runner won't. When a twin flame runner turns a chaser he is totally into that chasing state, not pretending and it's not going to be on and off like that of a narcissist.
A runner can however exhibits other narcissistic tendencies, e.g ghosting that we are talking about here.
Is it making any sense now?

Your second question... No, it doesn't, divine feminine or DF as it's usually shortened means the person with the most feminine energy, e.g compassion, nurturing and empathy, let's just say emotional energy.
Commonly, women are naturally gifted much more of this kind of energy, so in many occasions DF more likely the chaser is usually a female, but sometimes, it could be the other way round.
DF means any of them with the most feminine energy while DM (Divine Masculine) means anyone with the most masculine energy.

Quote from: Partonremedy on Oct 04, 2024, 06:35 AMNo, runners are not narcissists, they however generally exhibit narcissist tendencies.
They're not just running for the fun of it or to harm the other person like a narcissist would do. It is usually as a result of fear from past relationships or fear due to negative experience from childhood.
Sometimes the chaser turns the runner after being awakened and after probably letting go. By then, the runner definitely turns the chaser.

QuoteCan you see how this is different from a narcissist perspective?

If the twin flame chaser (usually the divine feminine, DF) is truly a chosen person by nature, they'll recognize the difference between a runner and a narcissist.

The whole scenario is just that of a narcissist and a codependency.
End of discussion.

It's nice you are finding out and getting to know this is just a myth yourself. I told you this whole twin flame thing is just about narcissists, psychopaths, sociopaths and the like trying to manipulate innocent people.

I learnt they're called runners because they tend to be distant or stay away from the connection between them and their twin.
Hence, they act in the way that makes them ignore their twin feelings.
This is part of the signs narcissists exhibit.
Can we say they're narcissists?
