- Feb 18, 2024, 06:04 PMMuch love guys. I think I would go for .ai since target audience are tech inclined, I'm also thinking of removing the tech so the name would be short with .Ai. The start up is about App development. I appreciate

- Feb 17, 2024, 06:53 PMI think it depends on what you want to do with the website. Is every operations going to be online or the start up is offline with little online integration? Who are the types of people that are likely to patronise the business?
Asking these to know the kind of audience for the business. If they are people that are already exposed to the world of Ai e.g youths, then go for Ai. If they're people that would barely remember there's an extension after .com, please make it .com. Don't let the letter be more than 8 or 9 and pronounceable so it could easily stick to memory.

- Feb 17, 2024, 05:22 PMOn the contrary, I would suggest you go for .Ai, it already denotes your site is into tech mere seeing the name and the extension. You don't even need to add tech to your domain name so it wouldn't be too long.

- Feb 17, 2024, 02:48 PMWell, some researchers say extension doesn't really matter in domain name. It's how you could complement it with hardwork that matters.
In this case, if tech is already on the main name, I think you could go for .com.
Since your website is not really about Ai but tech in general. My extra suggestion would just be that you shouldn't get a long name. Get a name that's not more than 9 letters max. This will keep the memory intact for your web visitors.

- Feb 17, 2024, 02:36 PMSo I'm planning to get a domain name for a tech start up website. The name of the domain already included "tech" but I wonder if .Ai is really making so much wave in terms of domain name. We all know how .com is.
Even though .ai is a bit on the high side, I don't mind getting it if it will serve purpose.
Your suggestions please
