I think it's more of battle between logic and emotion. Many people believe most men are logical and you need logic to analyse major tech areas.

There are few women in tech as well, can't be compared with the population of men though.

I also agree with @Congra that some guys are just there because it could comfortably pay their bills and not really the interest.

It's not that most men are really interested too. They only see tech field as a way of earning something reasonable.

Some ladies are doing well in tech, although just few but when you see them there you know they're passionate about it.

Why don't ladies have interest in technology? Is it natural or they are just that way? This is what I have observed over the years. For instance, seeing them in technology field is rare.
