Guys need to cash in😂
My thought the first time I heard Flowers was that it's one of those Miley composed right after leaving Liam or when their love story was very close to the end.
How can anyone think this cool song was inspired by Mars'?
Pathetic!

What's there to compare in Flowers and When I was your man?
Tempo is kidding, right?
The latter focused on regrets while the former focuses on self-love.
Should we talk about the beats?
Or the two different emotions that come with the songs?
Nothing is there to compare please.

Miley Cyrus sued for copyright over 'Flowers,' alleged for copying Bruno Mars' song

Miley Cyrus has been sued for copyright infringement over her accused "Flowers," which is affirmed to look like Bruno Mars' 2013 hit.

Tempo Music Speculations claims "Flowers" duplicates tunes and verses from Mars' song.
The claim refers to printed music and verses as proof, looking for an undefined monetary repayment.

Singer and actress Miley Cyrus has been hit with a copyright infringement claim in regards to her hit song "Flowers," for which she as of late won a Grammy.

Tempo Music Speculations recorded the protest in a California government court against Cyrus and a few others, organizations and entities.

In the allegation, Tempo blamed Cyrus' tune for being excessively near Bruno Mars' song "When I Was Your Man," which was delivered in 2013. Tempo possesses a portion of the copyright for Mars' song.

"Promptly upon the arrival of 'Flowers,' the public perceived the striking likenesses between the song and 'When I Was Your Man'," the objection expressed.

Michael Pollack, one of the co-creators of "Flowers," denied the allegation in a March 2023 meeting with Billboard, as per court files.

Tempo gave printed music and lyrics from the two tunes in court records to help its case that the two are comparative. (U.S. District Court, Central District of California, Western Division)

The claim asserts Cyrus' tune "copies various melodic, consonant, and expressive components of "When I Was Your Man," including the melodic pitch plan and succession of the lyrics."

Tempo even gave the court instances of printed music from the two tunes as proof of their similitudes.

The organization likewise posted verses from the two tunes to help their cases that the two melodies are comparably composed.

Tempo is requesting an undisclosed measure of cash.

Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man

Miley Cyrus - Flowers

However, regardless of whether it was roused by Mars' Song, fans trust there's an exceptional significance behind Cyrus' verses.

The verses from her track reads:
"I can get myself flower
Write my name in the sand
Talk to myself for a hours
Say things you don't understand
I can take myself dancing, I can hold my own hand
Yeah, I can love me better than you can."

While Mars' sang:
"I should have bought you flowers and held your hand
Should have gave you all my hours when I had the chance
Take you to every party 'cause all you wanted to do was dance."

To fans, her verses are an unpretentious dig at her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, who she got engaged with in 2012 preceding their split in 2013. They proceeded to revive their sentiment and marry in 2018, however they separated in 2020.

The song was even released on Liam's 33rd birthday, on January 13.

Everything goes down to a period where Liam supposedly devoted Mars' song to his better half, and because of their untidy separation, she was turning the tables on how she can help herself.

Similar to a strong, free lady song of devotion that makes sense of why she needn't bother with a man in her life.

Eventually, fans accept that 'Flowers' is the female viewpoint from Mars' tune, which discusses everything the second thoughts in his relationship, and things he ought to have accomplished for the one who has now tracked down bliss with another man.

Fans accept that 'Flowers' is regarding Miley's ex, Liam Hemsworth

As Mars' isn't named on the claim, some really think he gave her his approval to compose the track, which some likewise think includes a gesture at Jennifer Lawrence, implying that Liam had been unfaithful - however this isn't something that has been validated.

Miley talked about her separation from Liam last year during a show, where she let fans know that it was a 'f**king disaster'.

She once told Grazia: "There was too much conflict. When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone.

"I don't get off on show or battling."
