Hi all, I currently stay alone and I'm very sick, no one around to care for me, I'm struggling to type this right now. Have you been in this situation before?
How did you cope?

Abbei

Sorry about that. I'd suggest you go stay with family for some time.

What if she's in a strange land where there's no relative or family member?

You can always travel to be with them for some time

Lol...you've certainly not been ill before. Some illness will hold you down you won't be able to move any part of your body.

And what if I'm in Turkey while my family are in Australia. Is that a kind of journey that's easy to plan for a sick person?

What will you now suggest for her?

Ok. @op, I have been in this situation before. First know that you don't have to worry about any other thing at the moment apart from these three things... Food, medication and water.

Many people in most regions have easy access to the third one, which is water, so that's not usually a problem.

Thank goodness we have online stores nowadays, if you are yet to contact a doctor, please try and do that on some platforms that offer online consultation with doctors or at least, explain to an online pharmacist how you are feeling, most pharmacy store have this embedded chat link where you could talk to a pharmacist, doctor or a nurse. They'll prescribe what to take for you which you can proceed to order

After that, order food and drink online. Alternatively, you can send someone (if there's anyone to send) e.g your house gate keeper, but I personally will prefer to order.

You need to know that you wouldn't be frugal at this point as you would have to spend more, even if you're sending someone these things, you need to compensate the person, a lot of people wouldn't want to help without getting something in return, we have few good people that are ready to help for free but you and I know they are few.
You are going to spend much more but don't bother, the major concern at this point is your health. I pray God strengthens you as soon as possible.

So sorry @Ruthk. One of the major disadvantages of staying alone, you could also call on a friend or probably a close colleague to come help with some things.
Get well soon.

Not everyone keeps friend. Sorry Op, I also was in your shoes few months back and all I was doing was to order online. It was a situation that made me regret moving to a reserved area where each and everyone stays on their own. If it was my former neighborhood, I would have seen few people to help. It was tough but at the end I give God all the glory,  I'm now fine and you'll be fine too.
