What do you think is the function of a friend in our lives?

Some people do not have friends, as in close ones and majority see them as wierd. I'm one of those who do not have close friends though.

Friendship is for companionship, they support us when we are down and celebrate our success. A friend is someone who's always there during good and bad time.

If you do not have close friends, it's understandable because most people nowadays are too selfish to be called friends. So if the vibe it's not healthy or reciprocated, there's no friend anywhere.

Why would anyone see you as wierd because you don't like making friends?

It's nothing in my own perspective, most people are selfish as said by the person above, so why would you be making friends with those kind of people?

I think a companion is essential in life, it might not really be a friend but a close sibling, close relative or a partner you can always open up to. You know, no man is an island.
