The last time, I asked what mbti type is most likely going to be a genius . We all know there are different types of intellectual abilities and even though I didn't specify, I presume we understood I was particularly talking about IQ in there.

My question today however, is what Mbti personality type is likely going to be most intelligent at the emotional level?

Think it through, you are talking about someone who's "most likely" going to have the highest degree of "emotional quotient".

You don't mean someone with inward emotions here, do you?

You don't mean someone whose logic weighs 80% and only posses 20% emotion, do you?

You must be loaded with emotions and be able to understand other people's emotions before you could be described as having high emotional quotient.

We are talking EQ now, not IQ

IQ is basically a thing of logic
EQ is a thing of emotion.

They're different. You can only give what you have.👌

I'll say Intuitive feelers top the list in this particular order:

INFJ
INFP
ENFJ
ENFP

And the rest of the feelers can follow. You need to be able to feel for yourself and others before you could read all or most emotions, irrespective of whether it's the good or the bad emotion.

Great point, thanks for the explanation.

No EQ without open empathy, I don't mean covert empathy or sympathy😃, I mean genuine open empathy.

The individuals bestowed with natural open empathy as we all know are the feelers.

However, my own order would kind of be ENFJ - INFJ and the other feelers.

Yeah, they can connect well with their intuition and emotional abilities (intuitive feelers).
The fact that INFJs can absorb other people's emotion says a lot about their capability in this regard.

I'm not an expert but it's most likely going to be INFJ.

For instance, it takes more of emotional intelligence to be a good leader or a successful fighter for the people. Let's look at Nelson Mandela as an example here, he happened to be a great man with superb EQ.

Emotions help you connect with the innermost part of the people so you know what is good for almost everyone and you can be able to act towards that.

Even though the people that are mostly interested in leadership are the thinkers, a leadership seat without emotional intelligence will be full of disaster especially for others.

I'd say INFJ, ENFJ and INFP.

Why INFP comes third is that their stress tolerance level might be lower than the first two. The first two might be no-nonsense people when it comes to mounting some unnecessary stress on them but they are surely resilience more than INFP. Strong EQ comes with the ability to also manage life stress.

ENFPs are great at SQ, social quotient, they've got good level of EQ too, but their SQ is top-notch. They are usually on both sides just as INFJ could be on both sides of IQ and EQ.

This seems to have answered another question I haven't even asked

You must be selfless to be emotionally intelligent, this will make you know how others feel, what they are going through and their immediate needs, and those are the major things that constitute emotional quotient.

The answer to me is in this order;

1)INFJ
2)ENFP
3)ESFJ
4)ENFJ
5)INFP
6)ISFP
7)ISFJ
8)ESFP

From personal study, only one thinker can try to peep in at EQ level, and that's ESTP, but they can only peep in, they can't do more than that. I call them 'emotion observers', they observe it but after that they get lost, whether to chew, roast or trash it, they don't know what to do with it.

They can't feel deeply themselves not to talk of feeling for others, which makes them wonder what to do with the observed emotions. It finally becomes useless, it helps them in conflict management with nearly everyone anyways. Nothing else aside that.
