I was going through a company's review and it seems too good to be true. Almost 500 reviews are all positive. Could it be that this company has no flaw?
Don't get me wrong, it would have been understandable if the reviews were few in numbers but close to 500 five star reviews. I'm in shock 😲

I was once interviewed for a position where I was told this would be my job. As at then, both the interview and the job didn't appear real to me, 'cause I couldn't even meet folks that were interviewing me. It was a chat interview...lol and that wasn't the job I applied for. I ended up blocking the two people I was chatting with anyways.

Not quite long, the last company I worked for, the boss called a meeting basically to get ideas from us on how the company could move up the ladder of its review on the Appstore. He finally came up with an idea himself, crediting reviewer little amount in their account wallet after each positive review has been verified.

So to answer your question, YES, various business owners and companies pay people to give them positive/fake reviews.

Always had my suspicions about fake reviews, that's why I only trust reviews from few closed review platforms e.g Jumia. You have to purchase a product first, then they'll send a review link to your email, that's only when you can review. All these open review platforms, anyone can be asked to give fake review.

I worked for a company before where one of the things you must first do once you join them is to download the app and give positive reviews on Appstore/Playstore and general Google search. So yes, many fake reviews out there.

You are right, companies like boostfunda, helpzonia and others do this. Google is not helping this days too, several people are complaining their reviews fail to show up especially on Google maps, and those are real reviews, I'v seen many people like this. If you don't welcome real, you'll welcome fake from scammers that know their way. Google keep frustrating genuine site and business owners everyday.

The problem of Google is competitor, they do not have anyone to compete with them, hence, they leave humans in the hand of bots to control, but I know a day is coming where they'll get a sound competitor. The day is nearer than ever✌️
